What ever happened to God talking to people? Back in the old days, he was making regular visits. Moses, Abraham, President Bush. Ok, scratch that last one. I won’t make this political. But, really: what happened? Did he get a cosmic cough that has left him without a voice for two thousand years? I don’t know. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe he is still talking to us. Maybe he’s talking to those homeless guys in New York City, and we just don’t know it. They really ARE talking to someone.
I guess I ask because I think society drones out most of religion, at least in this part of the world. We refuse to take it as something more apparent than our blackberry. I think we’ve lost our faith. Boo.
